Scotopia Pictures enters the 21st century - 4/26/2000

After months of designs, scripting and troubleshooting, Scotopia Pictures entered the 21st century. Today they published their long anticipated site on the world wide web. Founder, Kris Kristensen, had this to say, "I'm sure there'll be some kinks that will need to be ironed out, but at least for now I feel like I've landed in the 21st Century."

In addition to offering samples of previous work, Scotopia Pictures site intends to update visitors of Scotopia Pictures most current projects. Check out the latest developments regarding Mrs. Baker.

Sharp dressed Baker - 3/22/2000

Fine men's clothier Savi have aligned themselves with Scotopia Pictures.Savi will sponsor the investor's presentation for Mrs. Baker.

The party will be held at The Big Picture in downtown Seattle on April 27th.

Lynn to cast Baker - 2/15/2000

Deedra Lynn has signed on to cast Mrs. Baker. Lynn previous experience has been as an extras casting agent on such hits as Titanic, Three Kings, and On Any Given Sunday. She is currently in production on the new Brendan Fraser comedy Bedazzled.

Brian McDonald had this to say, "We're not worried about the fact that Deede's never cast principal roles before. She's got the connections and more importantly she's hungry like me and Kris (Kristensen). It just means she's gonna work harder and do a better job than the average bear."


Halpern completes Producer

Halpern
Producer Lisa Halpern joined Mrs. Baker today as the fourth and final member of the producing team. Currently, Halpern is in preproduction on Brian McDonald's White Face, and is directing and producing Domainia, a documentary on the current .com gold rush. Even before officially joining the team, Halpern was responsible for hooking up Deedra Lynn; Mrs. Baker's casting director, with Scotopia Pictures.

Director Kris Kristensen had this to say about Halpern, "I'm very excited about having Lisa involved. She brings a vibrant energy to the team that's often missing. She's a welcome contrast to Brian and my own normally cynical view of the business."


Mrs. Baker seeks counsel - 1/17/2000

Schill
First time producer Scott Schill brings his legal background to Mrs. Baker. He provides the production with someone who knows the ins and outs of contracts and negotiations. Asked for comment, Schill offered, "My presence will allow Kris and Brian to concentrate on the creative aspects of producing the film."

He joins current producers, Kris Kristensen and Brian McDonald.
