"Mrs.Baker" Casts Lawyer - June 16, 2000

Seattle Entertainment attorney Lance Rosen of the law firm GARVEY, SCHUBERT & BARER has taken on the role of counsel for MRS.BAKER.

As an in-house counsel and advisor, Rosen has served as Director of Business and Legal Affairs for THE DISNEY CHANNEL, and as Vice President for Creative and Business Affairs for CLEAR BLUE SKY PRODUCTIONS. He has also served as a consultant and advisor to several new media enterprises, including NEXT STUDIOS and HONKWORM INTERNATIONAL among others.

Prior to becoming a lawyer/executive, Rosen was a professional actor with many television, film and stage credits. He founded two theatre companies, where he produced and directed several plays. He has also provided producer services for two theatrically released motion pictures.

Rosen has a B.A. from Antioch College in Ohio and a M.S. in education from Bank Street College in New York. He earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law. Rosen is a member of the Bar in the States of Washington, Oregon and California.

Director Kristensen stated, "I'm thrilled to have Lance involved. Everyone in Seattle knows who he is, and he adds a tremendous amount of credibility to our project." He continued, "I'm thinking about casting him in the film as Mrs.Baker's attorney, I saw in his bio that he used to act. I figured why not audition him, he's got a great face. Besides maybe he'd cut us a deal if I let him be in the movie."

Ellen Himmel, also of GARVEY, SCHUBERT & BARER will be handling the entity formation for SOLITAIRE FILMS, L.L.C. the company financing MRS.BAKER.
