Hot off the press, "White Face" ships off to Sundance - Sept. 28, 2000
With only minutes to spare, co-producers Brian McDonald and Kris Kristensen dropped off the lone copy of White Faceat the Fex-Ex office in downtown Seattle. "Currently, the film only exists on my harddrive and as a VHS copy enroute to the Sundance Film Festival," said Kristensen. "We mixed the audio all last night, finished compiling the credits this afternoon, bumped off a VHS and stuck it in the mail. We still don't even have a master copy on tape yet."
Clown and director McDonald

White Face is a mockumentary that explores the discriminations that clowns would have to face if they were an actual race of people. The film was written and directed by McDonald. "I couldn't be happier with the film. Evryone who worked on it gave 150% and it shows."

When asked about Sundance Kristensen remarked, "It's a tough club to get into. I'm not going to assume that we'll get in, but I wouldn't be surprised if we did. I think it's a very strong film, better than most short films out there. I'm very proud of it."

The film will be shown at a private cast and crew screening in November in conjunction with an investor's presentation for Kristensen and McDonald's feature film project; Mrs. Baker.
