White Face
White Face, the award winning short film by Brian McDonald, is currently screening on both HBO and Cinemax. White Face is a mockumentary about the types of discriminations that clowns might face if they were an actual race of people.

After winning the Audience Award at the 2001 Slamdance Film Festival White Face was picked up for distribution by HYPNOTIC.COM. When Hypnotic acquisitions representative Toddy Burton informed McDonald that HBO was interested in picking up the film, McDonald was happy to hear the news, but his enthusiasm was typically curbed.

Burton responded by telling him, "No, you don't understand. HBO wants it. They are very selective. This is like the crown jewel of short film distribution. I'm really proud of this."

McDonald just finished producing the feature-length psychological horror film Mrs. Baker with his White Face co-producer Kris Kristensen.
